Patent
A Patent is a title that grants the exclusive right to exploit the patented invention, preventing others from manufacturing, selling or using it without the holder's consent whilst simultaneously making it available to the general public.
A patent can refer to a new process, device or product or any new improvement thereof. The so-called “biotechnological patents” have been recently added to our system.
